HAIKU

I rarely write in Haiku although, as a teacher, I found it a great way to get secondary students writing in a poetic form. This came to me while during a walk along the River Torrens with our dog Bwana one morning at Athelstone.

WONDER
Such a small planet
in such a vast universe
with so much beauty

DESPAIR
Such a small planet
in such a vast universe
with such suffering
